Hart’s work is an exploration of dark, erotic surrealism through both humor and visual narratives, with a strong focus in traditional illustration.
When asked about the creation of each work, Hart states, “My process neither has a definitive starting point or finish line, I follow where my pen takes me. My work is and has always been evolutionary and reactive. I learn the piece in tandem with creating it.”
Though their background originates in metalsmithing and 3-dimensional works, Hart’s body of work can be seen in a spectrum of mediums including: soft sculpture, illustration, carving, painting, and other mixed mediums.
